Quest is a good DSL provider in my opinion…the site and a look legitimate. Although, for 30/month for DSL internet service, the service have to be really good…for ten bucks more I could get comcast.

I agree, they need to provide a really good DSL internet service for a price like that. 30$ is not that bad though…some of those other internet offers have cheaper estimates for DSL internet.

Does anyone know the real difference between DSL internet and broadband? DSL internet is so much cheaper, how does the service differ? Any feedback would be great.

Stop spreading that cable company propaganda; cable is not always faster because most cable companies cap the speed down to about what a good DSL connection provides! Embarq is a good DSL provider; they offer speeds ranging from 750K to 10 megabits. I recommend at least a 3.0 megabits connection if you want speed; 5 megabits is better; and 10 megabits is right up there with Comcast (it’s faster than Comcast in some cases). Http://www.embarq.com will tell you if Embarq has service in your area. I have the 5 meg with a 2wire gateway for a DSL modem (which has built wireless and wired networking built in), and I love it. You also get unlimited email through Myembarq.com. The email system also works with Blackberries, and probably also works with programs such as Outlook. I don’t know about Verizon DSL, but Verizon phone service sucks; I had it once and I hated it. I don’t know about AT&T DSL, but it’s supposed to be the best, and I like their wireless service. I know nothing about Qwest service other than it’s a POTS network like ATT, Verizon, and Embarq.
