Choose a High Speed Dial up Provider Here: Juno / NetZero
(HIGH SPEED DIAL UP PROVIDER)-If your one of those individuals who doesn’t want to pay the price for the services that broadband, DSL, satellite, or cable internet provide you with, then you might be interested in one of these two high speed dial up providers.
NetZero and Juno Online are two internet services that run through the same dial up provider company. The services and prices are almost exactly the same, however, you may have to make a choice based on your immediate location. I’ll give a quick run down of the services they offer in which each dial up provider (NetZero, Juno) offers a regular package and an upgraded package. We also encourage those who use these services to comment on your experience in regards to reliability, speed and overall worthiness.

You will find that the reliability of these dial up services (Juno, NetZero) are generally the same. Although, the general consensuses states that the upgraded packages offered are much better in speed and consistency. Although the upgraded package will give you a speed boost, it will suffer as an ISP when it comes to conducting large downloads such as music and streaming video. Deciding to go with the cheaper dial up internet plan is merely for those who keep their internet surfing in a simplistic manner. If you are one of those casual internet users, then any of these dial up packages could be a reliable choice. And for between six and ten dollars a month, you wont be taking too much of a risk with any of your decisions.
We want to hear your comments: Is the upgraded package really worth it? Are there any differences between Netzero and Juno Internet Services? Please give up your thoughts on other dial up providers that you do or do not recommend as a reliable ISP.

I’ve been using juno as a dial up provider for about a year now with the cheaper of the two packages. No serious complaints other than the fact that I lose my internet connection from time to time. I’ve been told that the upgradable package will help eliminating these connection failures in a big way. Anyone else heard this? Any info would be great.

The upgraded dial up package is significantly better than the one your using. You will probably run into the same connection issues with any other internet provider, but for $9.95/month…I’ll take my chances. I think the upgrade is worth it while it’s still cheap.

I was so broke this month I actually canceled my cable internet provider and switched to a dial up provider. I went with the Netzero high speed package, and so far it’s pretty darn good. It’s not quite as good as my old Comcast internet subcription, but…Comcast price =$60/month. Netzero price =10/month….hmmm? Why wouldn’t I try it out. Basically, any high speed dial up provider is going to lack in some areas when you compare it to cable, dsl, broadband or satellite internet. But if your forced to choose one due to financial issues then I would suggest going with the Netzero high speed package out of the 4 listed up top. It wont be faster than cable internet, but it will be a more than solid choice for a very reasonable price.

I’ve been happy with my NetZero package for about a year now. My friends are jealous when I tell them how little money I pay/month…but on the other hand, it really isn’t quite as fast as Comcast cable internet. I think I could compare the services to a lot of dsl providers on the market for about 1/3 of the price.

I never really considered a dial up provider these days…with everything else that’s on the market. But, with how the economy is goin, I gotta start making some cut backs on everything. Great price, and from the sound of it dial up is a pretty good way to go these days…I’m going to give it a try and I’ll keep everyone updated here…let you know how it compares to the ISP competition.

Dial up provider? Really? Am I really about to do this? It’s like going back in time, however, I’ve heard that they are nothing like they used to be in the old days. They are actually pretty fast if you go with one of the bigger packages. The slower ones are ok, but there will be some connection issues as mentioned earlier in the post. JamieKL….keep me posted on the services, I think I’m about to make the switch to dial up too. Comcast is way too expensive these days, and I heard they jumped their prices up again. And most DSL services deliver the same reliability as the NetZero high speed internet plan.

I like the Juno ” turbo” package personally. I don’t know much about NetZero accept that they are from the same company as Juno internet. The service in general is pretty good for any internet provider, not just dial up providers. If you a little low on cash, then this is a good way to go. It is little wierd going back to a dial up provider though. But whatever, I’m $40 richer each month.

Yeah…keep me updated. I’m thinkin of making the switch to a dial up provider too. Juno or NetZero seem like the obvious choice. It’s hard to find a cheap ISP these days.

Good little post here. I’ve never even heard of Juno before…had no idea they were connected to NetZero. I know NetZero is a good dial up provider…I’m curious to see whats up with Juno. Keep me updated all.

Juno ISP is a pretty good option I’ve heard. Dial up providers have gotten better over the years, but they are still way behind in quality compared to broadband and DSL.

Nice dial up options…I heard the services were pretty good through juno and netzero, however, not that great in compasion to other options on the market. You not going to find a better price for dial up internet though.

These look like pretty good options for dial up providers. They are trusted and offer pretty good service. For only 5 to 10 a month, your not going to find a better price for dial up.

Are people still using dial up providers. I guess that the way to go with the economy being the way it is. Netzero and Juno are both pretty good options for dial up. I still can’t imagine going back in time like that though. If anyone has feedback on these dial up internet providers, please let me know. It’s hard to find a cheap internet service, but a dial up ISP…who knows.

Good dial up offers….does anybody know if netzero of juno are that good though…the price seems great, but it should be for a dial-up internet provider.

I need a good dial-up internet provider. I can afford the good stuff anymore. Are juno and netzero the best on the market?

My new 81 year old husband does not like spending the money Comcast costs if there is a less expensive way to go. I can’t imagine going back to dialup. Can anyone give me an argument for the expense of cable other than speed? and how much slower is dialup than cable?
