Good article….these comcast internet links are legitimate for sure. Comcast prices vary so much based on their affiliates and authorized retailers….I personally think you will get the lowest comcast price for internet with one of these retailers, rather than comcast internet themselves.

Comcast internet prices are too high for me. It says 20/month, which it is….but, usually only for the first six months. I personally think that goin with a dsl isp is the way to go. Comcast internet is by far the most reliable company our there…but the prices are too high in my opinion.
November 7th, 2008 at 1:05 am
I think its a great deal for anyone that actually uses the internet often. Comcast internet is basically the only nation wide way to go as an isp. Dsl is too slow…dial up is a joke…satellite internet is too slow and too expensive. Comcast internet prices are actually pretty fair.

Great comcast internet offers. I’ve heard that authorized dealers for comcast internet are legitimate. I’ve also heard that they are actually better to go through due to the fact that they sometimes give you a better price.
November 8th, 2008 at 10:23 pm
It’s all about Comcast internet. They provide the best internet service on the market. The price is a little high, but it’s well worth it. I personally have gotten my comcast internet service through an authorized retailer and it worked out fine. They actually provide you with a little bit better of a deal. By offering a gift card, it makes it almost crazy to sign up through comcast themselves. Comcast internet prices are high enough…you might as well get what you can for free.
It’s definitely hard to trust some companies you’ve never heard of, but that why you need to do a little extra research on them. Most of the time you cant really call the actual authorized retailer of comcast internet, but, you can read upon reviews of them throughout the internet. Overall, comcast internet is not going to let a retailer rip people off, therefore tainting the comcast logo. Be weary, but don’t be scared to buy from one of those listed links up above.
That’s just my opinion though. Comcast is generally a very reliable internet company…that’s why they’ve made it as far as they have. Get past the comcast internet prices…it’s better than any DSL service for an extra 10 bucks a month.

I’m not a big fan of comcast internet…the price is a little too high for me. Your right, JessieJ, that the service is the best…but, I’m just a little too broke for comcast. Unfortunately, your not going to find the speed and quality that comcast internet offers without paying a little extra per month. I’ve been using a DSL provider for the last couple of years. The service is good but not great. I’m still looking around for something that gives me comcast internet quality for a DSL price. Does anyone have any leads for an ISP that fit that script.
All my friends use comcast internet…they have no problem with the price, so I just go over to there places a lot to use the internet. Does anyone know if you can sign up for comcast internet for just six months, and then suspend my service when the price jumps up. Or does comcast make you sign a year contract? Also, do you really get a gift card from one of the authorized retailers if you sign up for comcast internet? I heard it takes a while to get the gift card.
I really only want the services for about six months…I cant afford more than 20 bucks a month for comcast or any other internet service.

Simoner, we’ve looked into weather the gift card deal for many Comcast internet packages on the market is legitimate. And, it is. There are some guidelines however. It will take up to 6 months before you receive the gift card and you must have the service for at least that length of time to receive it. Comcast will not force you into a contract, therefore you are more than welcome to cut off your services before the price jumps up. We appreciate your question and look forward to hearing more feedback throughout your process of finding a Comcast internet service provider.

JessieJ, Check out are category on DSL internet providers for more input on prices. This post is generally for “Comcast internet prices”. If you don’t find any good leads there, feel free to refine your search throughout Your-ISP-Guide.com.
Thank you for your question regarding Comcast internet prices. We look forward to hearing your feedback in your hunt for an internet service provider.

I’ve been looking for a cable internet provider for a while now. Comcast internet prices have always been a little high for me. These package deals for Comcast internet do look pretty good up here, but I’m a little skeptical of the price.
Usually when Comcast internet says it’s $19.95/month, it’s only for the first six months. Does anyone know what Comcast’s price of internet jumps up to after that time. And, do any of those deals up there offer different prices after the six months is up?
Other than Comcast internet, I’m still looking for a good cable internet provider that is as good as Comcast, but for about half the price. Even if it’s not a cable internet provider, I just want the speed of Comcast for about $20 to $30 a month.
Any advice would be helpful.

I’ve heard that Cox internet is a cable provider that’s pretty good…but I’m not sure what the price is. I think your going to have a tough time finding an ISP with the quality of Comcast internet for around $20 to $30 a month.
If you find any, please let me know….and as far as Comcast internet prices go, after the six months, the internet service price jumps up to about $40 to $50 a month. I’m pretty sure that goes for all comcast deals you find on the web. Most of those ads for comcast above offer duplicate internet service, but, they offer different incentives for signing up. Like the gift cards. It’s basically a company outside of comcast, but regulated by comcast, that will give you something extra to sign up through them…I’m assuming these companies get paid on commission.
They can be trusted though because they are regulated by comcast themselves. If anything misleading or fraudulent were to go on through those authorized retailers, then I’m pretty sure comcast would terminate their contract.
That’s just what I’ve heard though. If anybody knows anything different please let me know. I personally know people who have signed up through authorized retailers for comcast internet, and they haven’t had any problems.
November 13th, 2008 at 6:29 pm
Those comcast internet leads look legitimate….although why is there an ad for Quest? Anyway, comcast internet authorized retailers are a good source for internet access to those who were asking. It’s a better deal than actually going through comcast themselves due to the incentives they offer you. Still though, I’m afraid is comcast may be raising their rates again anytime soon.
If this is the case, then it will influence even more people to buy comcast internet through their affiliates.
November 14th, 2008 at 4:37 pm
Is comcast internet really the best way to go. There has to be a cheaper option with the same services that comcast has to offer. The price is just a little too high. If comcast charged 30/month for internet service I would do it.
November 15th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
I like these comcast internet deals. I want a gift card. better than actually going through comcast internet themselves. Plus the price isn’t that bad for the service.
November 17th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
Comcast internet tend to be the best option on the market for a good cable ISP huh? Anyone got any feedback on the comcast offers listed above? I’m looking for a fast internet connection for about 30/month. All these comcast internet prices state that it’s $19.99 per month, but I’m assuming that’s for a limited time.
From the sound of it, the free gift card thing is legitimate, but if anybody know which of these offers for comcast internet listed are the best leads to check out, please let me know.
I heard a rumor that comcast internet will be raising there rates soon. If that’s the case, will they be raising the rates of those who are already using their services, or just for the new comcast internet subscribers?
November 17th, 2008 at 3:37 pm
I’m pretty sure that the comcast internet prices will only increase for new subscribers, so if your thinking about getting comcast, you should sign up soon if that’s the case. I’m really not sure about this though. I recommend calling comcast internet and checking with them what the policy is. If you look into that, please keep this conversation updated, I’m thinking of switching to comcast internet too.
November 17th, 2008 at 3:40 pm
I think that comcast internet lowers and raises the prices for everyone randomly throughout the year. But I heard that it all evens out, and they if they do make a price change, they notify the customers months ahead of time. I’m also not positive about this, so anymore feedback on comcast internet would be great.
November 19th, 2008 at 4:09 pm
Another thought, comcast has never raised their price on me for internet service however. But, I think if they do it’s such a small amount that we wouldn’t even notice. Any ISP you get is gunna go through price changes, not just comcast internet.
November 21st, 2008 at 5:38 pm
These are great comcast internet offers….but, does anybody know of any other broadband providers that are just as good as comcast internet for about half the price?
December 1st, 2008 at 1:25 am
I got my comcast internet service about a year ago through a authorized retailer…and there were no problems. I dont remember which comcast retailer I went through, but it was with one of these listed above. So far, I think comcast internet is the best ISP on the market. They provide pretty good customer service, but you cant beet their connection speed. Before I had comcast I was going through quest, and it doesn’t even compare as an internet service provider. If anyone can point me towards a cheaper cable internet provider that has a better service plan than comcast internet, please let me know.
December 1st, 2008 at 1:27 am
Comcast is a pretty good ISP. The price is a little too high for the internet service they offer though. I know some people are staring to get their internet service through local cable providers, but I’m not sure how reliable those usually are. Comcast internet may have a few down sides, but it does well in my opinion. I got my comcast service through the actually comcast internet website, so I dont know much about these authorized retailers.
December 1st, 2008 at 1:29 am
They are legitimate. Comcast offers incentives and commission to those who sell their product from other sources. They have strict restrictions on how it’s sold, therefore wont allow anyone to rip you off. I cant imagine comcast internet screwing that up and having the population lose trust over it.
December 1st, 2008 at 1:31 am
Yeah, like I said…they are legitimate comcast retailers, so there shouldnt be any problems. If there are, you can just contact comcast internet themselves and let them know what happened…and they will most likely fix the problem. There is no way comcast would allow shady people selling their ISP.
December 1st, 2008 at 1:32 am
I’m not sure I want to get comcast for my ISP. Does anyone have ony reasons why I shouldn’t or who I should go through for less of a price if there is a better ISP out there? I dont really know that much about comcast other than the fact that everyone I know uses them.
December 1st, 2008 at 1:33 am
Do you have to get cable tv or anything else to use comcast internet? I only want the internet service.
December 1st, 2008 at 1:35 am
You can just get the comcast internet service if you want. There is no need to get a package if you dont want to. They do offer some comcast package offers too though if your interested. I use comcast internet, but have a separate cable tv provider…so it shouldn’t be a problem.
December 2nd, 2008 at 1:25 pm
These are some pretty good comcast internet deals. Do most of the poeple talking on here have there cable tv and internet through comcast internet?
December 2nd, 2008 at 1:25 pm
I have both cable tv and internet through comcast. The overall price for a bundle like this is a little better.
December 3rd, 2008 at 1:27 pm
I’ve been using comcast internet for years, and I bought my service through a alternative retailer as well. I haven’t had any issues with them.
December 3rd, 2008 at 9:46 pm
Has anyone actually googled comcastoffers scam. I was scammed by this offer and so were many other people! I do not agree that it is legitimate. I got a modem for shipping price $9.95 and from then on nothing. Comcast 1-800 number had no record of me ordering from this third party…that had to set me up with a new deal. There was no one to contact and I never got any cash back!
December 4th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
Its not a scam. Ive done it twice and they paid off both times. Just make sure you follow the rebate instructions exactly and you ll get paid.
December 5th, 2008 at 8:36 pm
Does anyone know if comcast internet offers a lower price for different speeds for their services? I’ve been looking around for an internet service provider for a while and comcast internet is just a little too expensive for me.
December 5th, 2008 at 8:36 pm
I dont think that comcast has any different prices based on speed. I’m pretty sure that their connection is the same or everyone…but im really nor sure.
December 5th, 2008 at 8:37 pm
I heard that comcast might start having more customizable packages for internet service in the future. That would be nice.
December 8th, 2008 at 3:19 pm
I heard that comcast internet was going to lower their prices this year. It may just be a rumor, but that would be pretty nice now a days. I think a lot of people are looking for comcast internet alternatives due to the current price.
January 13th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
I’m still waiting for those prices to go down. I heard there were a bunch of deals around the web for comcast internet that are for a limited time only. Does anyone know of a good resource to find these offers? Do you really gt a gift card if you get comcast internet? I was just wondering if it was worth it, or if I should go through another cable internet provider.
April 9th, 2009 at 12:42 am
I signed up for internet, voicemail, and cable through Office Depot when they had a special and there was no contract. All you had to do was send in your first billing statements to prove you made your first payments and I got a $250.oo gift card to use any where I wanted. It did take about 4-6- months to get my gift cards but it was well worth it.And at that, I also gotmy services for $14.99 each for six months!!!
