Comcast Internet Price: Are the Ads Telling the Truth?
(COMCAST INTERNET PRICES)-When I look around the web in an attempt to check out the skinny on the current internet service provider deals, one that keeps showing up throughout our search engines catches my eye often. Comcast internet has an array of ads throughout the internet that state, “High Speed Plans start at $19.00/mo $125 gift card. No Credit Card.” On top of that there are a number of other offers that provide you with gift cards up to $200 with the purchase of a internet, cable TV and internet phone package.
This seems like a pretty great deal, but like the skeptic I am, I felt it was necessary to look into a little deeper. Is this just a marketing scheme with a ton of strings attached, or is it simply a great price for high speed cable internet?
Well the first thing I notice when I run into these particular ads is that the domain name is one other than Comcast internet. It generally comes from Digitallanding.com which is an authorized retailer or affiliate to Comcast.
One thing the ads don’t mention is the fact that is only $19.95 for the first six months. When that time is up, the price jumps up to $42.95 per month. This particular package deal is one that Comcast themselves offer through Comcast.com, which is actually a solid deal for the services they offer. However, the Amazon gift card is only found through authorized retailers…and from the look of it, its real. After the sign up process, you must keep your services for at least 60 days to recieve your gift card. You will actually receive the gift card about 10 to 16 weeks after the sign up date.
After going through the sign up process as far as I could without paying for anything, it’s concluded that the offer is legitimate but only slightly misleading. The ad doesn’t mention the $19.95 is only for the first six months, and it takes 10 to 16 weeks to receive the gift card. But over time, it will all pay out to go through the process of purchasing the incentive based deal. Take the time to review our Comcast internet price listings.

Here in Denver we have the choice of Comcast or Quest. Quest is absolutely a horror story. We had high speed internet installed with some kind of coupon we used but the service was very patchy. My wife uses go-to-meeting for work so it just wasn’t working. We had the guy come out 2 times, and no solution! And to make things worse after all of this they didn’t even honor our coupon. I paid Quest’s fee or whatever and switched to Comcast. We got the triple play, which is a great deal, and have been happy ever since.

Comcast pricing seems to vary all the time. They have so many deals running online I’m not sure what to believe. I never realized that Comcast used “authorized retailers” to sell ISP ’s. Sound like its a better deal to go through them rather than Comcast internet themselves.

These offers for comcast internet are legitimate. The prices for comcast do vary at times, but the price only goes up or down in small amount. At least that’s what I’ve heard. Comcast internet may have a higher price, but it worth it in my opinion.

The comcast internet ads are pretty strait forward….all ads are a little misleading. Does anybody know of where I could find a cheap offer for comcast internet service?
