I’ve heard that Embarq is a good broadband internet provider. Although I still use comcast, it costs a little more but it’s a reliable service. Comcast ISP is the way to go though for broadband internet.

I like Embarq (http://www.embarq.com). They have friendly and effective customer service/techincal support, reliable connections, and excellent speeds (I reccommend ordering at least a 3 meg connection, and they offer speeds as fast as 10 meg in some areas. That beats Comcast at times). Comcast is supposed to be good too, but the only thing I have against them is their lies about DSL and satellite service to keep subscribers. Verizon is a rip off in my experience, and they don’t know what they’re doing. If you are switching to broadband from AOL, be prepared for a headache trying to get AOL to disconnect; they’ll try to pressure you into keeping them, and they may keep billing you even if you tell them no and that you want to disconnect. AOL is a scam.
